I know isn’t it crazy, I’m bogging again and I just got done posting one. Well to tell the truth I have to do some catching up. So for those who read this, YEAH, for those who don’t, I guess it really doesn’t matter since you don’t read it right. Right!

I saw an interesting video/ commercial in my 3D animation class with Prof. B. I was a commercial for a product called “Zune,” I think. It basically Microsoft B.S. answers to Apple’s ipod. But the commercial itself was quit nice.

It starts of with this unique bird that flies up to a normal. They sit there for about a couple seconds looking at each other. The music in the background has a nice beat to it. Suddenly a blue light flies from the unique bird’s head to the others. He burst in flames as the music turns into this rock/ punk beat. The bird jumps and spins while the flames surrounds it. It stops the ashes fall, while the music returns to normal, from the bird and now he is uniquely colored like the first bird. Then the both burst in flames and dance with the music back to rock and punk. End the commercial with the Zune logo.

It’s done with 3D background with 2D models of birds. On a side note I really want to do cell shading and do an animation with Toon Boom or an animation that looks like Metal Gear Solid for the PSP, the novel one.

That’s all I really have to say. There will be more next time, hopefully.

Oh yeah I remember the reason for this was. DON’T MESS WITH APPLE!!!!

Night with luv.

OH MY…I know I really quite but I can’t, but don’t worry this is the second to last one. You can stop reading whenever you want. Unlike me I have to blog, you don’t have to read. So if you want to stop, I won’t hold anything against you. Go ahead…stop reading.

Now to business. I can’t remember which class I watch this in but it was a Leeper class, so either Intro DMA, Storyboard, or Animation 2. But I think its called “The Man that Panted Tress. This movie really spoke to me. If I actually wrote this right after I watch it I would remember all the points I wanted to tell.

The basic plot of the story was how this man goes traveling and get lost in a desert and finds himself watching a man heard sheep. The man speaks very little, but he herds sheep and as he does this he also plant a hundred seeds a day. As the progresses through both World War 1 and WW II people start to notice this forest appear out of nowhere. Not know that this single man planted these trees.

He has so much determination to devote is life to planting these trees after he lost his wife and child. I don’t know what it was but I spoke to me. Somewhere in this 3o minute short film the say something like God him self had to look had to look at him in amazement or something. But nothing could stop this man on his mission. So I’m going to go plant my trees with same determination and I’m done blogging.
Hey all, read or die…is a great anime! I recommend watching it, cough. Its time for a nice healthy blog. Mmm blogging.

So after looking of a couple of the blogs, I saw something interesting about Star Wars, and it made me think about Davis Hall. Which is better, a Jedi or a Ninja. The whole confusion with that act, it never got settled. So I am here to repremen this debate.
I feel, personally that Ninjas are much better then a Jedi. Come on really, 1.) a Jedi is just a future Ninja. With that said I really don’t need to elaborate, but I will because I need at least half a page or text. Davis Hall actor, Ben Davis, brought up the fact that Jedi have the “force” and crap like that. Needless to saw that Ninjas can do all that and more. We’ve all seen “A Ninja pays half my Rent,” and we all know how awesome that was. I recommend seeing Ninjai. Its completely done in flash and it is pure perfection. Ask Leeper about it.

In this paragraph I’m should talk about Jedi but that’s not really worth my time. I have nothing left so…
So For the last couple of blogs, I actually wrote them In Windows Word because our internet isn’t on its better side. But hey I’m here to blog about children movies and why parents let them see it when it might be bad. Lets go!

So in class, we were talking about capitalism and socialism but I don’t really mind for that. Children movie ratings though is important and how we as animators or film makers decide what we do. The point that I’m trying to get at is that, I managed a movie theater for two years. And I would see crowds and crowds of kids go see a movie like “Mean Girls.” Granted that it is a good movie, but I would want my 10 year daughter to go see that. The other things is that the film makers don’t care what they make as long as the get a large return on it. Is money really that much important over our morals and values? I would hope not.

The year that I’ve been year I learned a couple of things about myself land my art. Despite that I want to make video games, I still have some what of a decicion that I put into the games I help make.

I know its been a while and the next couple of blogs are going to way out of order. Why? Because I wrote them in Word because our internet is slow and I just waited half an hour to load this page to write what you may or may not be reading. So lets get to it..Again.

There are a couple of things that I want to say. Class related, slim. One is this movie I just saw like Saturday, its called the "The Prestige" and this movie is twisted. 1.) I'm not a critic so I can't rate and or judge this movie. 2.) It was bloody awesome. I think everyone in there right might should go see it.

I'm currently playing a video the has peaked my interest. Its called Bully, made by Rockstar. Maybe you've heard of it. I'm having alot of fun with it but it seems that Rockstar has done it yet again. With its freerome gameplay and its contraversal. The main plot of this is game for those that don't know, is a kid named Jimmy that has been abandon by is mother and stepfather, so they can attend their year honeymone. He is left to fend for himself at this private schoool propperly called Bullworth. Much like the GTA series only with kids and they go to school and classes. Its "currently" rated T for teens. There is no blood, but there is violence and some sexual themes. I'm seem to enjoying the story and how it all plays out. This brings to the whole thing about how children play and asborb information from games. So they can deal with it in a construct way. Playing out GTA is not recommend by any means. Playing out Bully isn't highly recommended but its how some schools really are. So... what do you do?

Write something...if you dare...BWAHAHAAHAHAHAH
happy halloween

Hey kiddies! It’s been a while but I’m back to blog…again. But hey what can you do when it’s your homework. Especially when its worth three blogs like this one. Now lets get to it.

I went to go see the screening to watch Co Hodeman’s work. It was and wasn’t what I was expecting. The first hour was dedicated to children work. Like Ludovic and Boxes. Which was nicely animated may I add. There’s a part in “Boxes” where the main character is walking down the street. Instead of moving the camera and everything he switched it up and mad the building move back and the character staid still. It was awesome. The “Sand Castle” was wow as well. For those who have ever animated in the sand back here, its really nice and you can do some amazing things (Luke Numitz) with it. It can be peaceful as well. But controlling it can be a nightmare. I really like what Co brings to his work for children.

He more adult geared work is nice as well. I can see where he wanted to show this to more matured audiences. Having him work with the Animation 2 class was nice. But it was even better having him come to the Storyboard class. I think I got more out it there then anything else. I really got to learn some interesting things with that. So thank you Co Hoedeman.
