Blog Time Grown Ups!
First I'd like to applogize for beeing late to class. I thought I had my alarm on but it was indeed off. So by the grace of a phone call I arived just 15 minutes late.

When I did get to class the films that I saw where amazing. I don't know to much of the live action "bizz", but I do know when something is good and not. These movies were what I would excpet from people saying that the have experience in live action flims. Not just "Oh me and my friends made a film." "The Door" group, nice work. I saw it ahead of time since Josh is my sweet mate. Nice little tune on gragage band. The camera angles on the DC one where you can't make friends. Pure genious. I wish that my group had some of this good foutune. Not to say my group is bad just no movie. And thats with my own bais in there so....

I comend everyone on a job well done. Learning from Leeper for a year now, and know what he might look for in the sightest bit. For him just to throw this theme of "Least" and hey make a movie and no talking in it, the results speaks for themselves. You can still tell that these are ametur work but I liked what I saw. I sat there comparing the movies to my own and was just amaized. Great ideas and excution.

If you haven't seen "Girl V. World" you will on Wedsday. And boy its going to be...interesting in the least no pun intended. This is far from being a "blog" but I just go to say this things. Next one will be better, trust me.

What are you Ninja or Pirate?! I'm a ninja so for all you pirates out there go find some booty....the treasure sicko. Everybody I'm sorry but here's another blog of bad spelling and grammar problems. Can you believe that I made it to college too?

So this is the last week of out great adventure of live action film making. Now we are all a little smarter and wiser about how "good videos" are made. The videos that we watch were real nice. I think with the right planning and resources everyone in that class can make both or at least one of those videos. They looked like low budget films but as you saw the credits role by you might have notice that it really wasn't.

The film "A Ninja Pays Half My Rent," was awesome. It made me think of the site real ultimate power, where ninjas and pirates don't get a long at all. Both the films and great camera angles and and real easy story. In DM 210, "storyboard" we were talking about techniques with the camera, like where the line is and stuff. I'm wondering how many of the films we're going to watch are going to follow these rules. I guess we'll see. Either was this should be interesting. LADA!!!

Well, No funny little entry this time. Just down to the nitty gritty. Oh! Well I have thing to say. I total beat Leeper in a game of basketball 2 v. 2. And it was pretty nice. Prof. B and I against Jordan Reed and Leeper. So no rumors are stared we played to 21 and it was a close game.

Now to the blog. Not much has happen for me to really blog about. I would to say that live action is crazy. First and for most, I am an animator if that. Really My concentration is interactive media. Live action isn't even around was I was thinking. It was nice to do for once. Everyone has those days with their friends, when something happens and you with you taped it. Or that you have the great idea for a movie. Coo, great, howdy do, this is different. I guess the difference is that is a story with other people and not just a, let get together and a make a movie. There was a lot of planning this, even for a short film. THERE WAS A STORYBOARD!!!! That right there makes it official. I want to say it was fun, but not really. I will say it was need to show me that want my strengths are and how to work with a team, which I think that everyone could use a lesson in that. I'd do it again, just would but as much work into it, I'll just pull a last year on it.

Talking about live action movies, makes me think of the movie called "A Scanner Darkly", which is completely rotoscoped, which means that the shot a in live action then went over it again in animation. I'd like to do something like that just for giggles. I'd recommend seeing it just for animation reason alone, plus it has a....Interesting story/ plot. Well that's all I got. If you read this, either give Prof. B and high five, money, food to share, or point and laugh at Leeper. We should make a event of this. They play every Monday at 5:00. But since I'm more than confidant that no one reads my blog I think I'm safe. Enjoy!

I know, I know, so soon? I just put up a blog like the other day. People is cyber space this is for my class, so as long as I continue to attend it there will be a blog up. (YEAH's & BOO's!!!) But hey lets grow up because, I'm in college here and I need to spell correctly and use proper grammar.

So the other day, Animation II class, we watch this film called "Mt. Head", and it was amazing!!! Like not just the animation but the story the and (sigh) just pure bliss. This guy is so picky and saves everything to the point where his house is just cluttered with junk because he hates wasting things. He's also lazy and really cheap. To make a great story horrible short. He kills himself by jumping in a pound of water in his own head...Yeah that's right no miss print or ty-po here. Just check it out. Ask Leeper about it. These past two weeks, haven't had much to blog about with the pre-production of our great short film. "Girl V. World", check it out, theaters not near you. But I have never worked on a live action film before and I really have no clue what to do. Come up with a story and storyboard it out. Actors and actresses and props and.....(sigh) I animate and that's what I seem to be good at. This is teaching me how much planning can really help. I have four DMA classes and doing two productions at the same time and they both require time and planning.

On a side now I am in the making of adding a picture to this post of my roommate, the great teacher, Jason Latino doing a Chuck Norris to one near dead person....or it might be photoshop, let me check the hand book.

Another thing to add is that art in my mind is meant to push the edge of reason. See what people except and what they reject. That's what I want to do through my media whether it be drawn animation, live action, CG or my favorite interactive media. I hopefully plan to turn this college upside down on how we view things. "Say what you feel, what you ought." Now I sound like Leeper.......................I can't end on that note. So I'll leave on this proverb that I did a storyboard on, "As a dog returns to it's vomit, a fool returns to his sins."

All right kiddies, it't time for you to pay the pipper. You are all sinners and...ups, sorry wrong thing! This is another lovely blog for you blogging enjoyment. About your favorite Digital Media Animation Intro course here at Huntington University. By now you are probably done laughing at my picture the I so crudley made in Photoshop. If you are indeed laugh or just in question...

Well lets get the the point or view point I should say so I can be even more corny durring this blog. But I'm not here to disccuse the different from space and deep space and flat or that "A" word that I don't feel like spelling right now. My blog is more of a continuation of Josh. C's blog about the Wii (hint the picture) AHHHHHHHH. So he's done all the work to make a point of how it goes with the class, I'm just riding it for right now. Games are important they shape our culture and furture just as much as art and animators do when the pick up their pencials to draw, or a mouse (to be political correct) I say this because of the readings that we are so willing to learn are actually teaching me something and makes me thing outside the norm or my comfert zone. I never really understood how much the media can actually influence a generation of people. So here's to the future.
